Happy Birthday, Momma!

I quickly realized that I do not have the time to do a blog post everyday. That daily challenge is not going to work out...

But today is my beautiful mother's birthday! I don't get to be with her on her day this year so I wanted her to know I was thinking about her. I hope your day is amazing, Momma! I love you!

Day One

In order to get myself back into the habit of blogging, I am going to do the 30-day picture challenge. Most people have done this on Facebook so I am going to mix things up a bit and do it here.

The challenge for the first day is to post a picture and ten facts about yourself. So here they are...

1. I am a huge Indianapolis Colts fan.
2. Needles are my worst fear.
3. I am extremely attracted to naval officers, baseball players and country men.
4.  I have major OCD when it comes to locking doors.
5. Currently learning to play both the guitar and piano.
6. My little sister is my absolute best friend.
7. I am in love with country music and LOVE going to concerts.
8. I can't cook. Something always goes wrong and I end up in tears.
9. I like dressing up and being a girl but I also like being one of the boys (which tends to happen more often)
10. I can't wait for the next chapter in my life to begin.

Let's Try This Again

I am going to try to get back into the habit of blogging...now that it has been years since even thinking about it.

Now that I am finished with college and have a full-time job, I can talk about what is happening in my "real world."

Annapolis trip

So we all had so much fun at the Naval Academy!!! We lost the game but it didnt make it any less fun! We also went to a Renassaince Festival with Dad's sister and her family.

Family

Mom thought that since we were all home this weekend that we needed to have a family photoshoot... what was great about it was that Mom actually got in the pictures too!! A few things to point out:

1. Yes, Dad is actuallu lifting both of us...how? No one knows...

2. CJ is so cute!

A Night out with Candace!

Update

Ok so I still dont have any pictures to put up here but my mother has assured me that it is fine to blog without pictures! I have a week left of classes and then a finals week...I am so ready for summer! These next weeks are going to be full of last minute papers, projects, tests and stress. We are supposed to make sure the apartment is immaculate before we move out too! I am going crazy!! haha This weekend should be fun though...here is what is happening:

Friday I am going to see Baby Mama with a friend....I hope its funny!

Saturday morning I have my friends baby shower to go to (she is married so it IS exciting!) and Saturday night I have a date with a friend of a friends!

Sunday, a friend and I are going to participate in the March of Dimes so that should be fun too!

I have a busy weekend that will be fun and will temporarily distract me from all the stress that will fill next week! Hopefully after this weekend I will have pictures of something! I love you all!

Reds in the Rain

So we thought it would be a great idea to go to the Reds game this past Friday. Of course it had to rain so much that there was an hour and a half delay and then we got to sit there while it continued to sprinkle. We also thought, "Hey its ok....its supposed to stay warm so all we need are our sweatshirts!" Dumb. We were wet, freezing and miserable the entire time! It was an experience though! I was excited because Ken Griffey Jr. is always hurt and not playing but he must have known I was coming because he was out there!! He played a great game and I like to think I had something to do with it!! haha. Sorry it took so long for the update.

My "Spring" Break

So I came home for my Spring Break only to experience the most snow we have gotten since living here. We decided to make the most of it so Alex and I had a photoshoot with Mom. Here are some of the ones of us together!

Finally....A Night Out!....and an update.

Ok.....so last night I went to a country bar called Bobby Mackey's with my friend Morgan and a group of her friends. When we first got there, Morgan and I were accused of lotioning our hands so that we could wipe off our HUGE red X's and be able to drink alcohol. Of course this was not the case but we were given a big speech and made to look into the security camera so that they would know what we look like and therefore be able to keep a better eye on us all night. It was completely ridiculous.

I was then asked to dance by a wasted young man who more or less just wanted to continuously spin me. It was a bunch of fun though. This bar actually reminded me of our family wedding receptions (example: It took Rocky Top Tenessee to get people on the dance floor). I wore my cowboy boots and had a blast!! It made me think that it is about time that someone else gets married so we can have a reception!!! haha. Sorry it took me so long to update but I honestly have been incredibly busy. I have had tests, midterms, job interviews, conferences, applications, etc.

New words

I have no time and no pictures.....you all just need to be patient!!! GOSH!!! :) I love you all.....I am just so stressed with everything going on right now that I dont have time for blogs as much as others do. You remember college right? I promise....soon.
